Austin Rasmussen is the Chairman of Republicans Abroad Norway and an original board member of the Liberalist political party in Norway. He and I view the social and political scene in the United States in two different ways, and from two different perspectives. In today's political climate, one may think that those facts lay the groundwork for a heated discussion or debate, and leave little room for understanding, if not agreement. That was not the case during my time with Austin in this episode. I strongly encourage all, regardless of their choice of political party, to listen to this entire episode, and experience the way productive political and social issues can be discussed.

"What is a father's love in comparison to a mother's love?" is a question that from time to time is presented by both father's advocates and feminists. An open mind would answer that there is no comparison and that the two "loves" are equally important.
Travis Peterson is a children's book author and book designer. He is the author of Ada and the Helpers.
I talk with Travis about the journey he and his wife have had as parents of a child who is deaf, their experience with cochlear implants, the sudden temporary loss of those implants this Summer, and how Travis has approached the "grieving" process as a father and children's author.
