It's Tiffy Tuesday again on The Comin' Home Podcast with John Alan!
Today, I take on the sideman role as Tiffy leads a discussion with Lauren White. Lauren is a poet, author, engineer, fellow artistic soul sister and the newest Loyal Oak Artist. She is the author of the book "Sunshine and Whisky" (available on Amazon), and her next book "Innocently Devious" will also be available on Amazon next week.
Listen to this episode and hear a great discussion about the beginning of Lauren's story of perseverance, her experiences as a former Jehovah's Witness, her thoughts on mental illness and spending time in a psychological ward, and her poetry.

It's #TiffyTuesday again.
If you are a fan of college sports, you know that the scholarship athletes generate billions of dollars for their schools and for the NCAA. Are these players properly compensated for their contribution? Tiffy and I discuss it.
This Tiffy Tuesday episode is being released on a Thursday. The reason for that is a combination of me questioning my sanity, and Tiffy being a lazy old woman. We go into hilarious detail in the beginning of the episode.

Andrew Morrow is a personal trainer and online coach from Lurgan, Northern Ireland (currently living in Norway) and Sturla Heggertveit is a Norwegian who is trained by Andrew twice every week.
We talk about the importance of the working relationship between trainer-client, the challenges of staying consistent with strength training and fitness and the importance of society having focus on men's health.
I talk with Andrew and Sturla about my powerlifting goals and the value of having a clear path of progression after going through several shoulder surgeries.
There is no such thing as being "past your prime"! You can always do something to improve your health.

Tiffy and I talk talk about couples who share social media accounts and/or bank accounts. Is it safe or does it open the door to manipulation and loss of control? Tiffy and I have slightly different experiences with this, and she describes my marriage as slightly old fashioned. I can't disagree. We also find out that I don't have a clue who the 1950's actress Donna Reed is, and that during the 90's, Tiffy was watching Seinfeld while I was watching Martin.
It's #TiffyTuesday.
